ITM and HIGHTEX 2020 exhibitions will be held between 14-18 July 2020

ITM 2020 International Textile Machinery Exhibition and HIGHTEX 2020 International Technical Textile & Nonwoven Trade Fair, organized with the partnership of Tüyap Tüm Fuarc?l?k Inc. and Teknik Fuarc?l?k Inc., and in cooperation with TEMSAD, were planned to be held in Istanbul Tüyap Convention and Congress Center this year between June 2-6, have been postponed to 14-18 July 2020, as a result of decisions taken by World Health Organization (WHO) and Turkey – Ministry of Health.

Recently, ITM and HIGHTEX Project Group made teleconference with both of the exhibition participants; the countries where such intense participation to both of exhibitions from Italy, Germany, Switzerland, China and Turkey. As a result of these discussions, organizational commitee was decided to postpone that exhibitions in line with requests from ITM and HIGHTEX 2020 participants.

The ITM and HIGHTEX Project Groups, see their primary responsibility as to protect the health, rights and investments of esteemed participants, visitors and collaborators. Therefore, within the scope of decisions taken by World Health Organization (WHO) and Turkey – Ministry of Health, ITM and HIGHTEX exhibitions have been postponed from 2-6 June 2020 to 14-18 July 2020.

ITM 2028 opens exhibitor registration following successful 2026 edition

Following the successful conclusion of ITM 2026, preparations for the next edition of the International Textile Machinery Exhibition are already underway. The organisers have officially opened exhibitor registration for ITM 2028, which will take place from June 13–17, 2028, at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul.

ITM 2026, one of the world's most prestigious organizations in the field of textile technologies, concluded with remarkable success. Held during a period of global economic fluctuations, regional uncertainties, and postponed investment decisions, ITM 2026 once again demonstrated the strength and future-oriented spirit of the textile technology sector. Welcoming 48,257 professional visitors and investors from 105 different countries, ITM 2026 provided momentum to the textile sector as an event where billions of euros worth of machinery sales and significant business collaborations were realized.

ITM 2026 International Textile Machinery Exhibition, one of the most prestigious meeting points of the textile machinery sector, attracted attention in its first three days, particularly with its diverse international visitor numbers. Industry professionals from all over the world had the opportunity to closely examine the latest technology machines and solutions displayed in operation. Thousands of visitors from approximately 100 countries, primarily Egypt, Pakistan, India, Uzbekistan, Syria, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, met at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center for new investment and cooperation opportunities.

ITM 2026, one of the world's most prestigious organizations in the field of textile technologies, opened its doors with the participation of over 1,000 companies and company representatives from 59 countries, as well as thousands of professional visitors from nearly 100 country. Cotton made in Africa® (CmiA) and CmiA Organic are two internationally recognised standards that aim to promote sustainable development in the African cotton sector south of the Sahara. To ensure the standards’ credibility among brands, retailers, and consumers, independent verifiers evaluate compliance on the ground. The verification results for 2025, now published in the Aggregated Verification & Implementation Report, were very strong: The verifiers awarded consistently very good remarks regarding management, people, prosperity, and the environment.

Bangladesh: Italian textile machinery mission stops in Dhaka and Chittagong

Technological upgrading and the transition toward higher value-added production are driving the new Italian industrial mission to Bangladesh. This year, the mission will split between the country’s two main manufacturing hubs, where Italian manufacturers will meet the leaders of the local textile supply chain in two strategic stages: July 7th in Dhaka and July 9th in Chittagong.

Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2026 closes doors, advancing sustainable and innovative sourcing in South China

Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2026 served as a strategically positioned mid-year sourcing platform for the Greater Bay Area, highlighting Shenzhen’s role in connecting regional demand, supply and innovation exchange across the textile value chain. During the three-day fair, over 20,000 visits were drawn from 74 countries and regions[1], as exhibitors and buyers engaged with new developments in greener, performance-led, and value-added yarn and fibre solutions. Held in conjunction with Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and PH Value, the fair underscored the benefits of closer synergy and new materials across yarn, fabric and apparel platforms for the South China market.
