ITMA 2003 is the introduction of the groundbreaking ITMA Forum - a top-level conference focusing on strategic initiatives for the global textile industry. The first-ever ITMA Forum will be staged during ITMA 2003, the world´s premier textile machinery exhibition, which is to be held in the UK this October.

ITMA Forum organisers say the event will bring together international business, political and industry leaders to discuss what it takes to succeed in the changing textile economic climate.

The Forum will gather exhibitors and visitors in one room for six open discussions on strategic planning.

The opening session is China: a competitor, supplier, partner or new market?
Current panel members include: Minister Du, Chinese Textile Minister, Bill Lakin, Secretary General of Euratex & Carlos Moore, Senior Vice President at the American Textile Manufacturers Institute.
It is an industry led Forum therefore every delegate is invited to participate through stimulating dialogue, discussion and debate. Questions can be posted to the panel via the ITMA website www.itma.com/forum.

The Forum Registration Brochure and Programme will be published in April.
